Helping individuals find passion, purpose, and meaning in retirement.

Retirement is the beginning to a new, exciting chapter of life. For many, they will spend the same amount of time in retirement as they do in their working life. While extensive resources to plan financially for the future exist, it's just as important to address all the other changing aspects of life that are impacted by when one disengages from traditional work.

Retirement MOJO coaches individuals in planning for retirement. We help individuals gauge their current retirement readiness and build a plan to create the retirement life you want to live!

Did you know research shows that the majority of people plan more for a 2 week vacation than they do for the non-financial aspects of their retirement?

Why Hire a Retirement Coach?

Retirement is all about change. Planning helps individuals prepare for the impact from the changes.

A lot of questions need to be asked such as:

  • What's next after you retire from your job?
  • Do you want to continue to work part-time, consult, find a new work to pursue around a passion?
  • Where will you and your spouse live?
  • What dreams have you always wanted to pursue but continue to put them on the back-burner?
  • How do you plan to spend your time?
  • Can you answer these same questions of your significant other?

Working with a Certified Retirement Option Coach helps you to determine what you want out of your life, what will give you purpose and meaning and most of all how you can achieve fulfillment and happiness.

Testimonials

"Karl walked me through a logical series of steps to help me identify what I wanted in retirement.  His insights have been very helpful in identifying what is important to me and the recommended steps to achieve my personal retirement goals.  Karl helped me understand that while the financial aspects of retirement are important it is also very important to identify and address my “overall life satisfaction” goals.  Karl has been a friend and mentor to me for over 30 years.  One of his mantras has always been “You can get everything you want in life, if you will just help others get what they want”.   His guidance has helped me develop a plan I am very motivated to follow and now I feel like the next stages of my life will be the happiest and most fulfilling. I highly recommend Karl as a retirement coach as his focus is on clients and helping them develop and implement plans to achieve their own personal goals."

"A few months ago, Karl Jackson challenged me to review my retirement plans.  Still on the south side of 60, I had begun to think about it – but only on a casual basis.  He gave me a Life Options form to review and fill out.  The form was a good tool to get me thinking about all aspects of retirement.  It walked me all the way from the big topic (money) to the details of how I would fill my day.  Karl and I got together after that to review.  He helped me understand where I could fall short of my goals and also where I was right on track.  I appreciated his candor.

I have a deep respect and admiration for Karl - knowing his business background and work ethic.  I like his slant on life.  Our kids are grown now and it’s time for us to focus on … us.  I appreciated that Karl stepped in to help me evaluate where I need to be - and how to get there – in the next few years."
